How We Met: It was the classic "met at a bar" story but with a twist. I fell in like at first sight with Casey at George Street Tavern. I was in town from the Coast visiting with maid of honor Leigh, who lived in Jackson at the time. I wouldn't go up to him but Leigh had other plans. She got Casey over to speak to me and from there we exchanged numbers and became friends. We somewhat "dated" off and on, attending weddings as each others' dates and staying in contact through long phone calls, texts, emails, etc. I lived in Bay St. Louis at the time so at some point we decided it wasn't the right time to pursue a relationship due to the distance. We went somewhat separate ways, dated other people, but never completely lost contact as friends. Fast forward to two years later, I happened to be in New Orleans for a wedding, and Casey was in New Orleans for a birthday celebration for bridesmaid, Blane. We figured out by chance that we were both in the city and made plans to meet up after the wedding. We met up in the French Quarter and it was like no time had passed at all! We've been inseparable since, and from there the rest is history!!

3/16/2020: Just like that, things changed overnight. While working closely with our wedding planner, the city of Bay St. Louis, and Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church, it has become evident that the day that we envisioned having on April 4, 2020 is no longer a possibility. While we are heartbroken and devastated by this news, we do have to keep faith that God has a bigger plan for us and trust in His timing. With that being said, we have postponed the wedding date to August 8, 2020. Different time, but same place. God willing this scary time we are facing will pass by then. Our guests’ and our health and safety are more important than any date could ever be. So, going forward this website will be updated with August information and we hope to see you all there, happy, healthy, and maybe just a little hotter than you would have been in April. :) ❤️ L + C
