Our story quietly started all the way back in elementary school, when Lauren walked into Grover Hill Elementary for the very first time. By chance—or maybe something more—she was seated right next to her future husband. Back then, they were just two kids who shared a classroom and a few smiles, always friendly but never quite realizing what was ahead. Life carried on, and as the years passed, they went their separate ways, holding onto nothing more than a distant familiarity. Seven years later, everything changed. At a mutual friend’s get-together, Lauren and Carter found themselves in the same room again—and in that moment, it felt like meeting for the very first time. What started as a simple reconnection quickly turned into something undeniable, as if all those years ago had quietly led them right back to each other.
