We're getting married!

We met through a mutual friend while attending Northeastern University in Boston. After a romantic first date at Shake Shack, we quickly fell for each other. We were officially dating by mid-April, and over eight years later, here we are getting married!

Carter, determined to surprise Lauren, set up an elaborate ruse that her parents got a very hard to get dinner reservation in Maine. On the drive from Boston, Carter took an unexpected detour to the beautiful Hamilton House Gardens in Southern Maine. After exploring the gardens with Lauren and Kiwi, Carter stopped under the gazebo and got down on one knee. Shortly after, Lauren's parents arrived to take photos and celebrate.
