1. What is the weather like in early November?

Answer

The average temperature is usually between -5 °C and 5°C at this time of year. For those coming from a warm climate, we recommend bringing a scarf, a pair of gloves, a warm jacket and boots in case of light snow.

2. When should hotel reservations be made?

Answer

The earlier the better! Ottawa hosts many conferences and international events, and hotels can fill up quickly.

3. How far are the recommended hotels from the venue?

4. Parking at the wedding venue

Answer

Our wedding venue is in the Byward Market. The venue has no designated parking spaces. While there are many parking garages, we recommend walking or taking an Uber/Lyft or taxi for convenience.

5. What if I need an electronic travel authorization (eTA) and visitor visa to enter Canada?

6. Can I use Uber/Lyft?

Answer

Yes, they are both available in Ottawa. However, please keep in mind, they are not available on the Québec side. In case you decide to join us for the spa activity on Saturday, you will not be able to order an Uber/Lyft from the Québec side.

7. What do I need for the Spa activity?

Answer

Bring your swimming suit and sandals. Both towels and robe are provided by the spa. You will find drinks and food can be served on site. We also recommend bringing a reusable water bottle if you have one on hand.

8. Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors and held at the same location.

9. Is there a wedding registry?

Answer

No. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all.
