We met at Woodburn Baptist Church in 2023 through the choir—Lauren as a worship intern, Cameron as a new member. A friendship quickly grew over our love for music and passion for the Lord. After more than a year of getting to know each other and growing in friendship, we went on our first date on October 14th, 2024. Some of our most cherished moments are spent cooking together in the kitchen, sharing music on long car rides, and laughing with our sweet small group. Our favorite dates are the ones that allow us to explore and connect, like wandering through the Frist Art Museum, hiking hand-in-hand through Bernheim Forest, or watching movies at the Capitol. On September 27th, 2025, Cameron proposed in the intimate setting of the Briar Rose Flower Garden, and we celebrated with a meal surrounded by our closest family and friends! Each decision made throughout our journey has been fully and completely fueled by the intent to honor the Lord, which we intend to carry into our marriage. We will strive to reflect the love of Christ and to serve each other well. We are so excited to start this next chapter as best friends, partners, and a family united in God’s love!
