We met through a mutual friend - Lauren's freshman year roommate. Soon after, during Fall Break, we hung out at Larry's Pizza. After finding out that we had several connections, one being our shared majors, we made the effort to hang out more. We made it official, soon after our first date, on November 4th, 2017.

Caleb decided to propose on our 2 year dating anniversary. After our classes finished for the day, we walked to the Starbucks where we had our first date. After drinking our coffee and recreating the date, Caleb drove us to Lake DeGray. We walked to the shore and he proposed after several minutes walking around in a bundle of nerves, awkwardly skipping rocks into the water.

Just a week before our wedding, we are both graduating from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR. We met at Ouachita, so the school will always hold a special place in our hearts. We are both graduating with two bachelors of science, one in applied mathematics and one in computer science. We are so thankful for the wonderful education we both worked so hard for!
