Lots of dates happened here - good coffee, great tea, and terrific atmosphere.
First date spot! It's connected to Sargent's Garden Center with seating in the greenhouse, so is a great place to warm up and cheer up in the bleak winter months. They also have fun seasonal drinks.
Bryce's favorite coffee in Rochester is served here - they have a fantastic selection of pourovers and their specialty lattes are just as good. Somewhat pricey though, this one's for the coffee snobs. Lauren doesn't like that the seats aren't as comfy as the other coffee shops.
This is our favorite breakfast spot, and the place where Bryce proposed (and Lauren said yes). The old guys that are there every Friday morning who were there when it happened still haven't let us live it down. Tell the waitress that you're in town for our wedding!
Great breakfast joint, get here early or else it's going to be packed! Bryce likes the Mettwurst sausage, and Lauren's favorite is the Raspberry Caramel Pecan Muffin.
A nice downtown shopping center with a variety of shops - there's a small bookstore tucked in a back corner that we really enjoy, as well as a game shop, Nordic store, home goods store, and others.
The church where we met! If you are in town Sunday morning, there's no better place (in our opinion) to hear the truth of the gospel and worship the Lord. This church has grown us closer to both God and each other in our time there.
A nice spot for a stroll not too far from downtown, assuming the weather isn't too cold!
Great study spot, and accessible from the skyway. There's a small used book store on the first floor that's open 11am-2pm Fri/Sat.
Delicious Thai food conveniently located downtown - one of Lauren's favorites.
Great Vietnamese pho and other dishes - check out the Boba tea shop next door!
Classic American dishes and sandwiches - This used to be our favorite lunch spot back when they had $5 soup bowls - sadly they upped the price to $9, but we still go (just less frequently).
