Get up close and personal with the iconic Flatirons. There is an "easy" hike you can do in the park, or just grab a coffee and hang in the large grassy area. Either way it's a stunning place to visit!
This is THE site of our first date. Another gorgeous spot with views of the foothills, a beautiful lake, and super easy walking trails. Hang out long enough and you might catch some paragliders!
This is a winding road run through a canyon with striking rock formations on both sides. Stop along the way to see the Boulder Waterfall, look for rock climbers on the cliffs, and when you get to "Ned" (as the locals call it), grab pizza at Crosscut or a coffee and pastry at Decent Bagel or Nederland General Store. Don't forget to google "Frozen Dead Guy Days" for some quirky Ned info!
Check out this website for tons of recommendations on activities, shopping, and restaurants in Boulder.
Go for a hike or scenic drive at Rocky Mountain National Park; note you'll need to make a reservation to enter the park. Even if you can't get a reservation (they can be hard to come by!) you can still make the drive up to the town of Estes Park and check some good scenery. Check out the town's website for more info: https://www.visitestespark.com/
This cute town is the home base for our wedding day festivities, there are a few shops and cute restaurants to check out.
