What is the dress code?

Answer

We're going for semi-formal garden party attire—think polished but playful! We strongly encourage floral prints and spring colors to match the garden setting. Please avoid white or ivory-based outfits, and we'd love for you to skip dark or black attire to keep the vibe bright and joyful. Since our ceremony and reception will be fully outdoors on grass, choose your shoes accordingly—block heels, wedges, flats, or dressy sandals are all great options. For the gentlemen: light-colored or colorful suits, dress pants with a sport coat, or even a crisp button-down with a blazer are perfect. No need for a tie unless you love one! No jeans, please.

What do I do if I'm late?

Answer

Since our ceremony is outdoors and near the gravel entrance road, the gates will be closed to cars when our ceremony starts (about 5:20). You won't be able to drive in until our ceremony ends/cocktail hour starts. You'll have to pull over on the main road and wait, so please give yourself enough time to get there. :)

Where should I park?

Answer

At the end of the driveway you'll see a red barn on your left. Please park in the field by the barn and someone will walk you to where the ceremony is. There is plenty of parking for everyone! You can leave your car overnight if you need to.

Can I bring my partner?

Answer

Due to space and budget limitations, we're unfortunately not able to offer everyone a plus one at this time. If additional spots open up as we get closer to the date, we’ll be sure to let you know. Your save the date will be addressed to those invited—if it doesn’t include your partner’s name or “and guest,” then a plus one isn’t currently available. We truly appreciate your understanding, and we’ll keep you updated if we're able to extend more invitations. Thank you so much!

As much as we love your little ones, we’ve decided to keep our celebration adults-only. We hope you enjoy a night out!

Is the venue accessible?

Answer

Unfortunately the venue is not wheelchair accessible (primarily because the bathroom trailer will have stairs). Please reach out if you have concerns and I'll see what I can do.

Transportation/Uber

Answer

Getting Ubers to and from the venue is possible, but wait time might be pretty lengthy. We recommend carpooling and parking there (if you end up needed to Uber home, no worries--you can keep your car there overnight). If you do decide to Uber, preordering one would be helpful.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

No, we do not have a hotel block. See our travel tab for the venue's recommended hotels. AirBnb is also a wonderful choice! Just searching places in Purcellville on AirBnb works, but if you want to make sure you're close, the address to our venue is 13656 Harpers Ferry Rd Purcellville, VA 20132.
