The development of a vaccine makes the situation a little more fluid. We are hoping that most people will be vaccinated by then, but we honestly have no idea. As of now, this is what we know: We chose this venue because it's large and there's a good amount of outdoor space for mingling and social-distancing. We are not having a sit-down dinner to avoid people from different households mixing closely. Masks are welcome and encouraged! To be totally transparent, there will be times that it will be difficult to social-distance-- during the outdoor ceremony (it's going to be short) guests will be seated next to each other, and the bathrooms are indoors. It will be possible to socially-distance for the majority of the event, but we want to be transparent that there will be some times where guests will be closer. We want everyone to feel comfortable and safe, and encourage anything that assists in that. Please feel free to reach out if you want more information about the layout of the venue!
Per the rules of the venue, we cannot tell you that there is venue-allocated parking. The venue is located in a residential neighborhood, and they try to stay on good terms with their surrounding neighbors-- not taking up all of the street parking is one of their strategies, which we understand. We suggest using a ride-share service!
The short answer-- no. The name(s) the invite is addressed to is who is invited. We are trying to keep the event as small as possible for safety, and most people will know each other anyway :)
Somewhere between cocktail and dressy casual. You don't have to wear a tie but...we would prefer no flip-flops either :)
We are asking that you do not bring your children. We understand that this may create hardships for parents with small children, so we wanted everyone to know in advance in case it affects your RSVP and ability to come. Thank you for understanding.
Yes! There will! We are doing a cocktail menu, so lots of passed appetizers, snacks, and plenty of drinks.
