Generally, Formal Cocktail provides wedding guests a range of options from cocktail options to mid-to-floor length dresses. Gentlemen usually choose a dark suit and tie. Please note the ceremony will be held outdoors on a grassy lawn. We recommend choosing your footwear accordingly for your comfort.
Sunset-Inspired attire is a suggestion for guests to join the fun and dress in the wedding color theme. Color options include but are not limited to shades of coral, peach, pink, salmon, orange, amber, yellow, green, gold, plum, and burgundy. The wedding party will be wearing olive green. We would love for you to help us capture the magic of the evening!
While we can't predict the weather, late September in Upstate, South Carolina can still be quite warm at 6 in the evening. The average temperature for that time of day is around 80 degrees. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be located outdoors near the pond while the reception will be inside. In the case of inclement weather, the entire event will be held indoors.
The venue features a large parking area with plenty of space for all guests. Because the location is somewhat secluded, you will need to drive or rideshare to reach us.
Unfortunately, we are only able to accommodate children and other guests specifically named on the invitation due to venue capacity.
We invite you to join us for pre-ceremony champagne on the patio beginning at 5:30 pm. We kindly ask that all guests be seated around 5:45 for the ceremony to begin promptly at 6:00 pm.
Please be fully present during the ceremony itself. Kindly "Unplug" and turn off all devices and enjoy this special moment with us. We have hired several professional photographers and videographers to capture every moment. We will be glad to share those with you. After the ceremony, we encourage you to take as many photos and videos as you wish! We look forward to seeing the cocktail hour and reception through your eyes later. Please look for photo-sharing QR codes located throughout the venue to upload your favorite captures!
Immediately following the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour with light passed hors d'oeurvres and drinks. Dinner will be served buffet-style, offering both Prime Rib and Chicken Alfredo accompanied by caesar salad, vegetables, and desserts. To help us accommodate all of our guests, kindly indicate any dietary restrictions or allergies so we can ensure there is a delicious option for you!
Yes! There will be a Curated Open Bar with selections of Beer, Wine, Cider, Signature Cocktails, and Mixed Drinks. Unfortunately, the venue does not allow liquor shots or anything ordered neat.
Absolutely! We will have a variety of options, including Water, Tea, Lemonade, and Soft Drinks.
The venue itself is in a rural area. The closest hotels are in either Traveler's Rest or Easley, South Carolina. For your convenience, we have listed a few hotel options within 10 miles of the venue on the travel tab for anyone who does not wish to drive home after the celebration.
