How We Met
Like many people these days, Lauren and Brad met on a dating app. After matching and chatting a while, Lauren told Brad her favorite drinks were pink and spicy. That's when Lauren didn't hear from Brad for a few days. He must not have been too fond of spicy drinks.
After a few days, Lauren and Brad somehow matched again on the app. Brad started chatting again and mentioned to Lauren that his app forced him to update, which then deleted his account. Lauren then thought, 'if he got a second chance at creating his dating profile, why does it look as bad as his first profile? He still only has one photo where he's smiling.'
Brad then interrupted Lauren's justified train of thought and texted, 'I think we should meet before my app does another auto-update.' She agreed to meet at the Social Club in Iowa City for drinks, some of them being of the spicy sort.
Since that night, they powered through 2020 together, worked in Moline, IL, and then moved to Tucson, AZ, where they bask in the sun.
