We hope our guests, especially those traveling from out of town, will take advantage of the beautiful weather and scenery by checking out some of our favorite spots around the area! - Lauren
Sea Level Restaurant and Lounge

Sea Level Restaurant and Lounge

655 North Harbor Drive, Redondo Beach, CA 90277

This is a great restaurant for seafood lovers, and it is walking distance from the Sonesta Hotel! It has great food and even better views. Brad and I love coming here for brunch and dinner.

The Strand

The Strand

The Strand, Manhattan Beach, CA

The best bike route in the Los Angeles area is “The Strand,” which is officially named the Marvin Braude Bike Trail and follows the shores of Santa Monica Bay. This famous paved bike path starts at Torrance Beach in the South Bay area and heads north all the way to Will Rogers State Beach in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles. Our favorite segment to walk of "The Strand" is starting at the Hermosa Beach Pier and walking a few miles north until you reach the Manhattan Beach Pier. Maybe you'll spot some pro beach volleyball players practicing along the way!

Manhattan Beach Pier

Manhattan Beach Pier

2 Manhattan Beach Boulevard, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266

Manhattan Beach has so much to offer from delicious restaurants to great shopping! Brad and my first date was in Manhattan Beach. We got coffee from "Peet's Coffee" on a Sunday morning and enjoyed it together on the shore. Our favorite restaurants in MB are Nick's and Mangiamos.

Riviera Village

Riviera Village

1799 South Catalina Avenue, Redondo Beach, CA 90277

The Rivera Village has a unique collection of clothing and gift shops, restaurants, and cafes. The Village provides complimentary views of the Pacific Ocean and the golden green dramatic cliffs of the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Brad and I love to eat at Rebel Republic and Henneseys Tavern!

Hiking in Palos Verdes

Hiking in Palos Verdes

The Palos Verdes Nature Preserve trails offer a wide variety of experiences, many of which feature spectacular views, native plants and wild flowers, fascinating geology, glimpses of the Peninsula’s history, and animal sightings. They range from easy strolls to strenuous climbs up hillsides and ridges. If you have time, we highly recommend checking out the historic Point Vicente Lighthouse Trail.
