Hike the Caldera
Let's Go for a Hike! As many of you know, Bo and I met while hiking with our dogs in the woods in May 2022, and since then, we’ve shared a love for being outdoors and staying active! We thought it would be fitting to recommend a hike for our guests to enjoy —the Caldera in Greece. This volcanic crater isn’t just breathtaking; it’s steeped in rich mythology. One of the most famous legends is that of the sirens, whose enchanting songs lured sailors to their doom. You can take this hike on your own or with a tour guide. Santo Wines
A popular winery offering tastings with views of the caldera. They serve Santorini’s famous Assyrtiko wine, and reservations are recommended, especially in peak season.
Oia’s Boutique Shops
Oia has a variety of small shops selling handmade jewelry, local artwork, and designer clothing. Shops are generally open from late morning until late evening.
Fira’s Market Streets
A lively area with shops selling souvenirs, Greek sandals, ceramics, and traditional crafts. Some vendors allow bargaining, especially for larger purchases.
Diving
Caldera Beach Dive Center. A dive center offering trips to volcanic reefs and shipwrecks. Options are available for both certified divers and beginners.
Sunset Catamaran Cruise
Sail around the caldera, swim in hot springs, and enjoy a BBQ dinner while watching the sunset.
Horseback Riding
Horseback riding tours in Santorini take you through vineyards, historic trails, or along the coastline, offering a unique way to see the island. Tours are available for all experience levels, with safety gear provided.
ATV Adventures
Renting an ATV is a great way to explore Santorini’s scenic roads, traditional villages, and beaches at your own pace or with a guided tour. A valid driver’s license is required, and helmets are mandatory.
