We first met through mutual friends, but our paths never crossed until a few years later on our very first day of X-ray school. Looking back, it’s clear that God was already at work, aligning our lives long before we realized it. That day, I asked Blake if I could sit next to him, and from then on, we sat together every day for the next two years. We quickly formed a close friendship, bonding over our favorite show, Friends, and sharing stories about the people we both knew. In time, Blake asked me to hang out, and what seemed like a small step of faith became the beginning of the life God was preparing for us. Since then, the Lord has continued to guide us, allowing us to grow both individually and together. We’ve graduated, traveled, started new jobs, welcomed Frankie—our fur child into our family, and followed God’s calling as we moved to Georgia. There were so many moments when our paths could have crossed but didn’t. We shared friends, places, and seasons of life, yet God waited for the perfect time to bring us together. We truly believe that He led us to each other, allowing us to build a relationship rooted in faith, love, and trust in Him as we continue to grow together and become the people He has called us to be. We are excited to start this new chapter of life as husband and wife, building a marriage grounded in God’s purpose and grace.
