We met at a BOSEF orientation our freshman year of college and didn't think much of it. We started talking that first day at a field trip to the Toledo Zoo and discovered how much we enjoyed each other's company. After a few movie nights in the dorm and adventures around Toledo we grew closer together every day for the next 5 years and beyond.

In December of 2022, both of us were about to make some significant decisions in our lives. Lauren was just starting graduate school in Florida and Ben was looking for a job to start his career. Even before the job was landed, Ben knew where he was going to be in 2023, and that was in Florida with the love of his life. During Lauren's visit to Toledo for his graduation, Ben took her to all of the most memorable locations of the University of Toledo campus to talk about our happy memories from our undergraduate years and the first 4 years of our relationship. At the end of the tour, Ben listed the number of days, hours, minutes, and seconds that we've been together and got on one knee to ask if Lauren would make the rest of their lives just as happy as those 1518 days, 6 hours, 4 minutes, and 57 seconds had been.
