How should we get there from Dallas?

Answer

The easiest way to get to New Hampshire from Dallas is to fly into Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). Boston (BOS) is approximately 1.5 to 3 hours from Laconia, depending on traffic conditions.

Should we rent a car?

Answer

Yes! We highly recommend renting a car for the weekend. Laconia and the surrounding Lakes Region are beautiful but a bit spread out, so having your own car will make it easier to get around. Carpooling with friends or family is also encouraged — it’s part of the fun!

Where should we stay?

Answer

We’ve reserved room blocks at a few nearby hotels (see our “Travel” section). There are also plenty of Airbnbs and cozy lake houses in the area, which are great options if you’re traveling with a group.

When should we arrive?

Please plan to arrive no later than 2:00 PM on Friday so you have time to check in, settle, and get ready for the welcome party that evening!

Welcome Party: East Coast Cocktail — Cocktail attire for ladies; sport coats or button-downs for men. Wedding: Black-Tie Optional.
