We did the thing!

The day before Ben's birthday in 2017 at the Tiki Bar in the Sherwood Forest Faire campground, a young(er) Benjamin needed someone to help settle a debate between him and friends. Cue an unsuspecting Lauren busy texting on her phone after a long day of work. After an arm link and night of conversation around a campfire, they settled on sushi and arcade games for their first date a week later.

We moved in together in October of 2018 in Austin, TX. Ben became the official Cat Daddy to Snickers, our beloved fur-child. We have gone on numerous adventures together including: beach time down the shore in New Jersey, playing in snow in New York, the Blue Mountains in Ontario, shows in Las Vegas, and wanderings all over Texas, Philly, and places in between. We enjoy social dancing and playing video games together. We still enjoy working and attending different renaissance festivals and other nerdy entertainments.
