Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events will be taking place at Younger Ranch both indoors and outdoors. The ceremony will be outdoors and the cocktail hour and reception will be mainly indoors. Parents please be advised that Younger Ranch is a working ranch and farm equipment will be in the area of where the wedding will take place. All children must be under supervision during the wedding.

Is there a booked hotel room block for guests?

Yes, we have a room block at the Drury Inn & Suites Colorado Springs Near the Air Force Academy. Please use our group code 10128681 when booking.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

A shuttle will be provided to and from the main hotel (Drury Inn & Suites) for guests. However, there is plenty of parking at the ranch if you prefer to drive yourself. The shuttle will depart from the hotel on Saturday at 3:45PM.

Answer

Smoking is only allowed in the designated area on the patio by the reception barn.

Will I need my ID?

Answer

Yes, for any guests planning to have alcoholic beverages, staff at both the welcome drinks and reception will ID.

Colorado Springs Elevation

Answer

Please keep in mind Colorado Springs is at an elevation of 6,000 feet. Guests who are from out of state are advised to drink lots of water the day prior and throughout the wedding day to avoid altitude sickness.

Are children invited?

Answer

Children of close family and friends are invited to the wedding and are listed on your invitation. During wedding day, all children need to be under supervision the entire time due to Younger Ranch being a working ranch and farm equipment will be in the area where the wedding will take place.

Can I leave my vehicle overnight at Younger Ranch?

Answer

For guests choosing to drive themselves to the ranch, it is preferred all vehicles be cleared at the end of the night. However, if a circumstance arrives that a vehicle needs to be left overnight, please notify venue staff. Any vehicle left overnight must be moved by mid-morning on Sunday.
