The wedding is in the region of Puglia (the heel of the boot), and in the town of Corato, just a short drive (20 minutes) from Antonio's hometown, Bisceglie.
Bari Karol Wojtyła Airport (BRI)
We are currently looking into hotel blocks at the moment but would highly recommend Airbnb's in the city center of Bisceglie if you want to be close for events surrounding the wedding day.
We highly recommend people rent cars directly from the airport. We plan to have a bus that will take people from the town of Bisceglie to the wedding venue and back. P.S. if you are renting a car you WILL NEED to have an International Driver's Permit in order to rent a car in Italy. You can learn more about the process here: https://www.usa.gov/international-drivers-license
By car and train.
Yes! It must be valid for at least three months after you plan for your trip to end. https://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/travel/entry-exit/non-eu-nationals/index_en.htm#:~:text=Your%20passport%20should%20be%20valid,within%20the%20last%2010%20years.
At this time, no. However, the EU is planning to have a new E-Visa in place by the time of our wedding. A fairly simple process that we can provide more details on as we receive the information.
Euros are the main currency, and we do recommend exchanging some money as Italy still believes "Cash is king."
Yes, you will need adapters! I highly recommend this one from Amazon, as I personally use it :) https://amzn.to/4ivuWUy
There's no magic answer for this one, really the sooner the better. It is highly recommended to start tracking flights 6-8 months before the wedding. Some of my favorite ways to track flights are with google.com/flights and setting up alerts, skyscanner.com, or with hopper.com. I highly encourage people to try and be flexible with their dates they intend to fly. Flying mid-week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) is often cheaper than flying on weekends.
We are still deciding on this but at this point in time I would say Semi-Formal and we are encouraging our guests to wear our favorite colors: shades of blue and green (patterns also welcome). We would love for our photos to have a cohesive look and wearing our favorite colors would be much appreciated. We will share some attire ideas closer to our wedding date :)
We hope to have our ceremony outdoors (weather permitting) and our reception indoors. The wedding venue has multiple spaces that we plan to use throughout the day. https://www.cortebracco.it/
Pleasantly warm. You can expect average high temperatures around 81°F (27°C) and lows around 66°F (19°C). So, it's nice and warm, but not too hot. June tends to have many clear and sunny days (generally a dry month). Expect long days and late sunsets!
We are still in the process of planning this but yes we plan to have a welcome dinner and potentially some other events leading up to our wedding day!
Yes! There will definitely be children at our wedding and there will also be babysitters!
If your RSVP allots for this, yes. If not, please reach out to us if you have any questions.
At this point in time we do not have all of the information ready for you. However, you will have multiple options and the ability to give us any/all of your dietary restrictions which will 100% be accommodated for!
We are in the process of working on this. Stay tuned!
WhatsApp or text either Antonio and I with any questions or concerns.
Not yet, but there will be!
We highly recommend buying a local SIM card, getting an E-SIM (from apps like Saily, Airalo, or Holafly), or purchasing a plan through your cellular provider.
