Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is cocktail attire: think longer dresses and suits, tie optional. No need for tuxes or formal gowns. Please note that the ceremony and reception will both take place outdoors in a grassy area.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We are keeping our wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family. All formally invited guests will be listed on the invitation.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm. We ask that all guests please arrive at the venue between 4:00 and 4:15 pm.

What is the wedding day timeline?

Answer

We will begin our ceremony at 4:30 pm. Cocktail hour will begin at 5:00 pm, and the reception will end at 10:00 pm.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

A shuttle will be provided to and from the Goodwin Hotel, with a stop at the Inn at Middletown. Shuttles will leave from the Goodwin at 3:15 pm, and will make a stop to pick up guests from the Inn at Middletown at 3:45 pm. There is also plenty of parking at the Wadsworth should you prefer to drive. Ubers/Lyfts are also readily accessible in the area.

By when do I need to book my hotel room?

Answer

If you plan on staying at the Goodwin Hotel, please book your room(s) no later than July 11. Please see the "Travel" tab for details on booking a room using our block rate discount code.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Apart from a few exceptions, this will be an adults only event. Those children that are invited will be indicated by “The _____ Family” on the invitation, and their names will be specified in the RSVP section.
