It’s Official!

In the fall of 2008 is really when we began our lives together in Austin, TX. We became inseparable and we got engaged on Valentine's Day 2014. Next time you see Angel, ask him about it, its a hilarious story! We originally planned to get married on our anniversary of October 10th, 2015. A series of events unfolded, so we ended up putting everything on hold. Once we got back on our feet I became obsessed with the date 10.10.2020. Angel said I was crazy for wanting to postpone our wedding until 2020... and he was right, but here we are. Who would have known that 2020 would be such a crazy year? We almost postponed again, but the fact that we've lost so many people close to us made it evident that our time was imminent. We had always envisioned all of our friends and family celebrating with us, but with the worldwide pandemic upon us, we made the tough decision to scale it back to immediate family and friends in our hometown of El Paso, TX. For safety reasons, we kept our guest list small. We encouraged everyone to quarantine as much as possible leading up to the wedding, along with other safety protocols. Our amazing friends at Piedmont Café offered a very safe and beautiful setting. They took measures to keep everyone safe during our private event. They exceeded our expectations and we are so happy with everything they did for us and our guests! We highly recommend them and encourage you to support their restaurant once they reopen! We hope you and our loved ones know that you all were missed on our special day. We hope to celebrate with everyone in the future when the time is right. You’re all invited! - Love Lauren and Angel 🤘🏽
