We met back in high school at a bonfire and quickly realized that we shared a lot of mutual friends. For a little while we would run into each other whenever we were hanging out with our friends and we somehow always ended up next to each other talking. We both always enjoyed the little times we would see each other and eventually we decided we should go on a “real date”. This first date went good and eventually on May 28th we “made it official” and started dating. Over the last six and a half years we have grown extremely close to each other and neither of our lives would be the same if it weren’t for the relationship that we have built.
A big part of our relationship has always revolved around the outdoors and traveling. We have always enjoyed camping, hiking, and just generally exploring whenever we get the chance. In October of 2020 we went on a trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and stayed near the Pictured Rocks Lakeshore. On the second day we were there we hiked the actual shoreline, about 13 miles, and halfway through Andrew proposed. This was one of the nicest hikes that we have ever been on and our proposal made it a hike we will never forget.
