FAQs

Question

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Yes if staying on Disney Property at one of Disney's hotels you will have access to free Disney transportation!

Question

How should I get to the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

If staying on Disney property, the easiest way to get to Disney's Dolphin resort is to take a Disney bus at your resort to Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios, both are walking distance to Disney's Dolphin resort. If off property, you can drive or Uber, just let the resort guard's know you are checking in for the McCoy/Ludwick Rehearsal dinner at Shula's and that you have a reservation!

Question

At what time should I arrive for the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 11:30am. This allows you plenty of time to find parking and seating! If driving to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort just let the resort guard's at the main gate know you are here for the McCoy/Ludwick wedding!

Question

What should I wear to the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Whatever you are comfortable in! We just ask that you avoid wearing jeans

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is cocktail attire. Ladies should wear a nice cocktail dress short or long and men should wear suits or khaki pants with a dress shirt

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony will be inside the Wedding Pavilion. The pre-reception will be outside in a covered patio space, and the reception will be inside in the ballroom!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adult only event with the exception of family so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any additional guests beyond those indicated on your invite. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Drinks are on us! Come ready to celebrate!

Question

Is okay to take photos during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means that we kindly ask that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well we have hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments and we would hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking a moment for him to capture. After the ceremony feel free to take as many photos as you'd like!

Question

How do I know if I should attend the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Please note the rehearsal dinner is only for family of the bride and groom and our wedding party.

Question

Do I need to have my ID on me to have alcoholic beverages?

Answer

Yes, if you plan to enjoy an alcoholic beverage on us, please be prepared to show photo ID. Disney will not serve guests alcohol without ID.
