We are postponing to 2021! 2020 has been challenging for so many reasons, so we are moving the date out hoping the regulations in NC are a little more lenient and we are also able to safely have fun with our friends and family. New save the date cards and formal invites will be sent out in the coming weeks and months. Thanks for supporting us!! ALSO KEEP IN MIND WE WILL BE DOING THIS THING ON A FRIDAY - NOT SATURDAY!
Strangely enough we went to high school together in Roswell until after 10th grade, when Andrew moved to California - but we don’t remember eachother! As luck would have it, we reconnected almost three years ago now through the ol’ interwebs (gotta love online dating - look what it brought us!). As we got to know eachother, we realized we knew a lot of the same people and have really enjoyed reconnecting with old friends that we may not have otherwise had the pleasure of getting to know as adults had the two of us not found eachother. That about sums up the story of how we met. We both found a best friend and partner in crime and have thoroughly enjoyed balancing eachother out over the last three plus years - we make eachother laugh (most of the time) and you can’t ask for much more than that! We (Lauren...cough cough) are planners so we had already talked through marriage and family and all that jazz, so it was natural for the ring selection to be a team activity (Andrew will be getting a very nice engagement watch at some point lol), but Andrew completely took the reigns on the where and when he was going to pop the question. A trip had been planned to the Florida Keys with Lauren’s parents and some dear family friends, and Andrew took full advantage of the perfect setting to really bring the heat. We were taking a picture on one of the few beaches in that part of the keys when he proposed, and it was the perfect moment. The rest is history and we’re so excited for everyone to join in on the festivities of our special day!
