Where do I stay?

Answer

We are inviting immediate family and special guests to stay on the Poplars Property. There are many Airbnb’s/VRBO’s available in the Gerton, NC area, and some friends and family have already started booking through that platform. There is also the Esmeralda Inn, and the Chimney Rock Inn. We do not have any block out rooms. For those just hoping to crash for 1 night as to not drink and drive, there are many couches, and plenty of air mattress space. Feel free to make yourself a spot 💕

Can I bring my baby?

This is an adults only celebration. Dogs are not allowed on the property ☹️

What should I wear?

Answer

The atmosphere will be cocktail casual. We are planning to have an outdoor ceremony, with the reception in an enclosed, heated pavilion. We have no idea what the weather will bring us, we will have some blankets in case it is chilly, but it could also be 70 degrees. Highly suggest comfortable shoes.

We will be having BBQ, family style dinner at the reception catered by Hubba Hubba Smokehouse. There will be a vegetarian main option, and the majority of the sides are veg friendly. If you have other questions about the food, please check out their website. The catering team, Jeff and Jody, will be on site to answer any ingredient questions.
