Schuyler-Hamilton House Museum
Discover the place where Alexander Hamilton met and proposed to his wife, Betsy. Dating back to 1760, this home now exhibits a collection of antiques, paintings, and medical memorabilia from the Colonial Era. Docent tours can be arranged.
Washington's Headquarters Museum
During the American Revolution, General George Washington set up his post and troops here—less than two miles away from the Hyatt Regency hotel. Peek inside his private office and walk around the fort that his army built in preparation for a British attack.
Jockey Hollow National Historic Park
The Jockey Hollow section of the Morristown National Historical Park contains most of the land on which the Continental Army camped in the winter of 1779-80. Today, Jockey Hollow is still approached by roads that were used in 1776. Enjoy its easy trails along gurgling streams and rolling hills.
