Our story began when I was a senior in high school and was visiting a previous mutual friend at WSU where Alex was a freshman in college. We were introduced and realized we were both going to enter the nursing program at the same time the following semester. Throughout the rest of my senior year we were just starting to get to know each other and over that summer on June 6, 2015 he asked me to be his girlfriend. Little did I know until I found out later, he had told our previous mutual friend on the first day we met that he was going to marry me one day....and here we are almost 4 years later!

We were on my family's yearly Michigan trip that has become a very special tradition for us. The scenery couldn't of been more perfect, the morning he proposed we had gotten up and ready to go to town and as just the two of us we were walking in the trail between our cabins he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!
