Geilo is a small ski town in the heart of Norway. The resort has things to do, including spa, pool, and bowling. The surrounding area is known for skiing but also possible to go on different hikes in the summer. Friday-Sunday for the wedding is plenty of days to stay in Geilo but feel free to explore more!
If you are planning to stay in major cities (Oslo, Bergen), the public transportation is very easy to use and a car is not needed (and train to wedding venue). The weather at this time of year can vary. However, you can expect temperature highs of 65F and lows around 50F. There is also a strong possibility of rain so don't forget your rain jackets!

We will provide transportation to/from train station to Vestlia hotel and to/from the wedding ceremony.
