Our Story
We first met Labor Day weekend in 2021 when Alec went to visit friends in Delray Beach, Florida. Over the next year, we had hung out multiple times amongst mutual friends. In 2022, after a phone call from Lauren, Alec persuaded Lauren to visit him in Maryland. After a weekend spent in DC and in Maryland, it was time for Lauren to go back to Florida. Alec immediately did not want her to leave, and over the next two months, fate brought them together again. The UT vs South Carolina game as well as the UT vs Clemson Orange Bowl (Alec is a UT grad and Lauren is a Clemson grad) which was played 30 minutes away from where Lauren lived. Over the next year, trips back and forth happened once to twice a month. In March of 2024, Alec moved to Florida to be with Lauren and the rest is history.
