LET'S CELEBRATE! Our wedding is ON for 6/18/21!

Thank goodness for vaccines!! Thanks to the monumental vaccine effort we are able to have our wedding celebration!! So get ready to celebrate with us on Friday, June 18, 2021! Our venue will still be practicing proper precautions, so be sure to bring your mask with you! We can't wait to see you all after SUCH a long wait! Let's get ready to CELEBRATE!!!

While they missed meeting each other in college, Alden and Lauren stumbled (or bumbled) into each other in 2017 through online dating. Alden was happy Lauren rescheduled... after canceling their first date. On the second try, they got to know each other chatting atop The Durham, with thunderstorms rolling in - a wonderful first date! Such a success, they'd go on eight more dates in the next week and a half

Alden and Lauren went on an action-packed California adventure, starting with a weekend in The City, then driving through Monterrey and Big Sur, and finally hiking through Yosemite. The proposal itself may not have been a very well-kept secret, but the details were. On the morning of his 31st birthday during an early morning hike through Muir Woods, Alden got down on one knee and asked Lauren to marry him - surprised, she responded "Yes!" followed shortly by "Happy birthday!"
