Adam and I met in the winter of 2017 when I noticed a new cute boy walking around at work. We ate our first lunch together in the office cafeteria before moving off-site for Happy Hours. In May, Adam invited me to be his date to a wedding and from then on we knew it was something.

In the fall of 2019, Adam and I decided to take a week-long vacation to LONDON! The previous weekend was my birthday, and I was slightly surprised when the festivities ended with no engagement (though he definitely tried to fake me out once). One night in London, Adam claimed that his friend had planned a surprise dinner out, and they walked us all around town "on the way to dinner." We made it not even a quarter of the way across the Millennium Bridge before Adam stopped me, asked Shawn to take our photo, then surprised me and got down on one knee. Once he asked (I said yes!), he pointed to the top of the Walkie-Talkie building and said we had dinner plans on the 34th floor at the Sky Garden!

We love being close to downtown Austin. We also love all the greenspace that exists in Austin, specifically the trail around Lady Bird Lake and Zilker Park. The Umlauf Sculpture Garden is located down the street from Zilker and just off one of the trails we frequently run. We think it is a beautiful natural space hidden just a couple miles from the hustle and bustle of the city, and are so excited to share it with y'all!
