Shuttles are on us! We want you to fully relax and enjoy the celebration without worrying about driving. Shuttles will run round-trip from two centrally located hotels, one on each side of the bridges. From there, rideshares are easy to grab to finish out your journey. On the way to the venue, shuttles will leave each hotel at around 4:45 PM and 5:15 PM. At the end of the night, they’ll head back to the hotels between 8:30 PM and 9:45 PM, making a pit-stop at the after party along the way. Still going? We love that for you. Shuttles will keep running from the after party back to the hotels, every 30ish minutes, until about 12:45 AM. If you’re staying on mainland Rhode Island, shuttle pickup and drop-off will be at the Holiday Inn in South County. If you’re staying on Aquidneck Island, you’ll hop on and off at the Wayfinder Hotel in Newport.
This is a casual beach wedding with all events outdoors (with a covered reception space). Expect grass, sand, and some concrete throughout the day. We recommend beachy, comfortable attire! Light, breezy outfits are the way to go. Think summer dresses, linen pieces, and button-downs. Wedges, block heels, or flats will all work well (we’d suggest skipping stilettos. Trust us on this one). Sunglasses and dancing shoes are highly encouraged! It may get a little chilly at night, so bringing a light jacket or layer is a good idea.
We love your kids, but our wedding will be adults-only, with the exception of immediate family. We know this can be challenging, especially for those traveling, and we truly appreciate your understanding. All other weekend events will be family-friendly, and we’re happy to help connect you with local babysitting options if needed. We’ll miss your little ones and hope you can still join us for a relaxing night of celebration.
Please arrive anytime between 5:00–6:00 PM, with earlier arrival encouraged so you can enjoy happy hour with us. The ceremony will take place around sunset, ~ 6:00 PM, so please plan to arrive beforehand.
Yes, there is plenty of on-site parking available!
We’ve got a plan! The Fort Getty Pavilion has a built-in rain and wind backup option. If needed, the space can be fully enclosed so we can comfortably continue the celebration.
We generally don’t recommend staying in Jamestown unless you’re planning to drive yourself back from the venue at the end of the night or have accommodations in Jamestown near Narragansett Ave, where the after party will be held. We recommend the following areas depending on your vibe: Newport: closest to the venue and a great destination stay Middletown: more budget-friendly and centrally located Portsmouth: Quiet, residential feel with lots of Airbnb options. Close to the water and very scenic for a relaxed stay. North Kingstown & South Kingstown: more budget-friendly and centrally located Narragansett: beachy, scenic, and still convenient East Greenwich: Quaint, neighborhood vibe with Airbnb options and a walkable Main Street Warwick: best for easy airport access Providence: more city energy and restaurants
We’re lucky to already have everything we need, so your presence is truly the best gift we could ask for. If you feel inclined to give, we would be so grateful for a contribution to our honeymoon fund. You can find more details in the “Registry” section.
Please note any dietary restrictions when you RSVP to the Main Event. There will be a designated space to share this information, along with indicating whether you plan to use the shuttle.
You have a few options from Boston: MBTA, rental car or Uber Additional MBTA commuter train info: https://www.mbta.com/schedules/CR-Providence/timetable) South Station is your best starting point. The closest train stop to the venue and surrounding area is Wickford Junction, but service only runs there on Fridays. If you’re traveling on Saturday or Sunday, Providence is the next closest and most convenient stop.
