What is the dress code?

You may need to walk through and/or take pictures on sand (barefoot on the sand is fine). The reception will be located indoors. Please do not wear all white.

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes, we have blocks at multiple hotels. Please see the travel page for details. Please contact Laura Evans (lauraaevans@yahoo.com) if you have additional questions about the hotel blocks.

What is the parking situation at the wedding venue?

Answer

There is limited parking at the wedding venue. There are some pay-by-hour spots in the lots on either side of the Cabrillo Pavilion and street parking, but we expect many to be full due to the weekend day at the beach. We highly recommend walking or Ubering from the hotel that you are staying at (there are many located directly across the street from the venue - see the Travel page on this website). We have a small block of reserved spaces at the venue - please contact Laura Evans (lauraaevans@yahoo.com) if you would like to request one of these spots. We will be prioritizing those with mobility concerns and those who are helping with transporting wedding materials.

Can I bring a plus one or additional children?

We sadly can't accommodate additional plus ones or children beyond those specifically listed on save the dates/invites.

When should I plan to be in Santa Barbara?

Answer

For the majority of guests, the only official wedding events will be the ceremony and reception on 8/9/26. For guests in the wedding party or otherwise notified, there will also be a rehearsal & rehearsal dinner on 8/8/26.

Please arrive by 3 PM, the ceremony begins at 3:30 PM.
