After 6 years of dating, Chris FINALLY asked me to be his wife in London, a city that we both love to visit. Chris was determined to keep the proposal a big surprise, so he only told my parents and his mom about two weeks before we left for London. The day of the proposal he told me we had plans to meet up with some of his friends for drinks, which he said was near Tower Bridge. I was a little (by a little, I mean a lot) jet lagged so I was rushing to get ready! We had the uber drop us off right by the bridge so we could walk across and admire the architecture. We walked down near the all the shops and I begged Chris to get me some ice cream, but he insisted we were already late. Hand in hand, I followed his lead until he stopped me and he started staring at me. I was a little confused, because I thought we were in a big rush and I was still thinking about the ice cream. He said “you know I love you, right? And you know I want to spend the rest of my life with you, right?” At that moment he got down on one knee and pulled out the most gorgeous ring! I think he then asked me to marry him officially, but everything was a blur once he got down on one knee. However, I was able to get out the word YES! Then two photographers came out from the crowd of people, introduced themselves, and confirmed that they got the whole proposal on camera. We then captured even more photos of what was the most perfect moment thus far.
