Kayla Loomis

Matron of Honor

Kayla and Lauren met the summer before their freshmen year of college, where Kayla's family hosted Lauren for the summer while they attended collegiate cheerleading training. The two were roommates their second year of college and have remained best friends ever since! Kayla is currently in pursuing her dream career of nursing and is attending school in Temecula. She was married in 2017 to a fellow Arroyo Grande High School classmate.

Jennifer Benvenuto

Maid of Honor

Jen and Lauren were both in the Gamma Phi Beta sorority and were roommates in the sorority house their senior year. Although they grew up ten minutes apart, it was Cal Poly that brought them together. The two shared endless laughs and have remained best friends in a "long distance" relationship, as Jen now lives in Colorado. She is often found hiking, camping and she is always on the lookout for the next best brewery.

Taylor O’Neil

Taylor is Lauren's "Little Sis" both on the Cal Poly collegiate cheerleading team as well as the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. When in between houses, Taylor stayed a month in Marilyn and Tom Leahy's house. Taylor is truly an honorary Leahy!

Kristine Scheibley

Bridesmaid

Kristine and Lauren met their first day at Carondelet High School in their second period class. They both competed on the high school swim team. The two were inseparable and some of their best memories were at the Leahy family cabin out on the boat. After attending school in Texas and pursuing her graduate school in Ohio, Kristine is finally back in California! Kristine currently lives in San Francisco and works as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

Merry Bestard

Merry and Lauren met the summer before their freshmen year of college through the Cal Poly Cheerleading Team. They were also in the same sorority, Merry being one of the main reasons Lauren decided to "Go Gamma Phi." Merry currently lives in Claremont and is pursuing her dream career as a Registered Dietician, specializing in Sports Medicine.

Caitlin Wilson

Bridesmaid

Caitlin was Lauren's "work wife" at Platinum Performance where the two met. Both had attended Cal Poly and met briefly before Lauren started work. The two share a deep passion for horses and their beloved dogs. Caitlin and Lauren also competed in team CrossFit tournaments. Caitlin was married in 2018 in a beautiful ceremony in Santa Barbara.

Amanda Miller

Bridesmaid

Amanda and Lauren met first at their Crossfit gym in San Luis Obispo and were fast friends. Many nights were spent at Amanda's house, her home was a home away from home down in San Luis! They share a love for being active, their dogs and horses. Amanda lives in San Luis Obispo and owns three businesses including the prestigious Wedding Beauty Collective. She is the reason Lauren and the gals will be looking their best the day of the wedding!

Christina Pera

Bridesmaid

As cousins that were raised together, Lauren and Christina have always been extremely close. The Pera and Leahy families could be found in Tahoe most summers. Lauren and Christina share a love for any outdoor sport, most recently running. Both Lauren and Christina completed their first full marathons this year! Christina is an avid surfer and loves to spend her weekends outdoors enjoying the San Diego sun.

Olivia Pera

Olivia and Lauren are second cousins, but have always felt more like sisters! The two share a love for travel and experiencing different cultures. Olivia lives in San Diego and is pursuing a career in the wine industry. She is an avid surfer and runner. They most recently ran each of their second marathon together in Napa.

Lindsey Benger

Bridesmaid

Lindsey is one of Lauren's oldest friends. The two met when Lindsey attended St. Raymond's School in second grade. The two share a deep passion for animals and art. Lindsey and Lauren attended Carondelet High School and went on to study Animal Science at Cal Poly. Lindsey currently lives in Southern California and can be spotted with a falcon on her arm and two dogs by her side. She is a licensed Falconer and animal trainer.
