Camp Sherman Store & Fly Shop
Lauren's parents own the Store and this is where she grew up! Come for an espresso and breakfast or stop in for one of their famous sandwiches. Stocked with essentials, souvenirs and/or things you forgot!
Wizard Falls Fish Hatchery
The most beautiful water you'll ever see! There are multiple different areas to feed the fish and a giant pond at the end with really big fish - fun for all ages! You can park there and also walk up or down river if you're feeling adventurous. Be on the lookout for eagles in the area too!
Head of the Metolius
This is where the Metolius River starts! It's one of the largest spring-fed rivers in the region and this is where the water comes out of the ground. Bring along some peanuts to feed the chipmunks on your walk to the observation platform (1/8 mile on a paved pathway). Great view of Mt. Jefferson (Lauren's favorite) and there are benches and picnic tables too! If you want more of an adventure, you can park at the Store and walk 2 miles upriver to the headwaters - 4 miles roundtrip.
The Suttle Lodge & Boathouse
Great place to hike (3 miles around) or get in the water! Good spot for the kiddos too! You can rent boats, canoes, kayaks and SUPs. The Boathouse is very casual and has great food - breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Skip Bar in the Lodge is a bit more elevated but the views are great!
Black Butte Ranch - Glaze Meadow Recreation Center
Lots of options here! Food, activities, golf, etc. The Lodge is open for dinner and is a more elevated experience. The Lakeside Bistro is more casual food and right next to a pool that you can buy a day pass for! Robert's Pub is a little further back on the property and also a more casual dining experience. It's right next to the driving range and miniature golf! Pro tip: Order drinks at the pub and take them out on the mini golf green with you! They have a spa, activity rentals, horseback riding and great views!
Black Butte Upper Trailhead
Great hike and great views! 4.2 miles roundtrip, 1,500 elevation gain.
Allingham Campground
Fun spot to dip your toes in the water (it's cold!). Good spot for the kiddos too. It's also a great 2-mile roundtrip hike along the river. Park at the Store, walk downriver, cross the bridge and come back on the other side!

Great lunch spot!

Hawaiian plate lunch spot. Only open 11-2 and they sell out quick!
The Barn in Sisters
Food truck lot and taphouse - great for lunch, big outdoor area and kid and dog friendly!
Sisters Bakery
Local bakery with fresh doughnuts and pastries!
Angeline's Bakery & Cafe
Great for breakfast and lunch, they have espresso too! Gluten free, vegan, vegetarian options available.
Cottonwood Cafe
Fun breakfast spot with inside and outside seating! Sometimes has a bit of a wait, but it's walking distance to Sisters Coffee and the Sisters Bakery.
The Open Door
Art gallery and restaurant! More elevated dining experience and they have a great outdoor space!
