We met at a party in college with Paxton’s long hair and Christmas cat t-shirt in January immediately catching my eye. I took a picture the moment we met because it was too funny not to. He thought I was super cool—which, thankfully, he still does ;) From that night on, we shared late-night talks, rides on his moped, study sessions, and plenty of little moments in between. Our first official date was at an Italian restaurant in Charleston, celebrating our birthdays just 10 days apart. Since then, we’ve traveled to new places, worked out side by side, explored new restaurants, and spent countless afternoons with our dog Igor at the beach. On December 12th in downtown Tampa, surrounded by twinkling lights and a winter wonderland, Paxton surprised me by proposing in front of the lit up Christmas trees. It was truly the most exciting moment of our lives. We’re so grateful for each other and everyone we love, and we can’t wait to celebrate it together.
