FAQs

We've compiled some FAQs below to help with your planning. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Lauren or Nick!
Question

Do I have to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend?

Answer

Yes! For the safety of our guests and out of respect for the country we're visiting, we require everyone to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Thank you for celebrating safely with us!

Question

Is there a Covid-19 testing requirement to return to the US?

Answer

Yes, all travelers flying into the United States age 2 years and older will be required to present a negative Covid-19 test taken no more than 24 hours prior to your flight, or proof of recovery from Covid-19 (within 90 days), regardless of vaccination status or citizenship. Visit the CDC website linked below for the most up to date information. Antigen and/or NAAT tests are accepted, including rapid at-home antigen tests THAT MEET SPECIFIC CRITERIA such as having Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the FDA, and must utilize a telehealth affiliate that provides real-time supervision of your test. There is a testing center at the Liberia Airport. Visit their website to schedule an appointment: https://www.liberiacrairport.com/covid-19-liberia-airport https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/testing-international-air-travelers.html#:~:text=Yes%2C%20at%20this%20time%20all,documentation%20of%20recovery%20unless%20exempted.

Question

Wait... What's the venue address?

Answer

You may have started to notice that addresses in Costa Rica look a little different than they do in the US! Rather than a "number on the street" system, many addresses in Costa Rica are based in relation to other local landmarks. Google maps will be your friend here. If you're using local transportation, all our wedding week locations are well known destinations. And if in doubt, our wedding venue address is: Casa Sueño del Mar B&B, detras del hotel Cala Luna Calle Guapinol, Playa Langosta Provincia de Guanacaste Costa Rica (50309)

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is "beach cocktail," semi-formal. Think linen pants, short-sleeve button downs, no jackets required. Sundresses, maxi dresses, rompers, and nice sandals to keep your feet comfortable. Plan on being outside and in the sand, so bring the sunscreen but you may want to leave the heels at home.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, of course. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions you have so that we can inform the caterer.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Ask us!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Stay tuned for more details.
