It's Wedding Time!

Picture it: July 2020 - the middle of the pandemic. Lauren had just come out of lockdown to return to her 3rd year of optometry school. Jamie was in his 4th year of his PhD program and was spending time with his family at Harlan during the 4th of July. Lauren decides "yes, this is the perfect time to make a Hinge dating profile because I won't be pressured to meet anyone right away and we can just chat." Two days after launching her profile, Jamie liked one of Lauren's photos. Lauren started the conversion answering one of his profile prompts and well, the conversation hasn't stopped since! After only a few dates, both Jamie and Lauren knew this felt different - it felt easy and fun! Through a pandemic, two graduate programs, and now long-distance + Lauren's second doctoral program, their bond has survived and thrived. Both Lauren and Jamie knew after an accumulation of tiny moments that this was it - they were meant to be!
