Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

Of course! Devils Thumb is very family friendly, so is Winter Park. The wedding reception will be adults only, but we will have a baby sitter and kids party on site during the reception. All the events are on site so if you're staying in the lodge, your baby monitor will probably work at the main bar. Let us know if you're bringing your kids, so we plan accordingly.

Question

Can we bring our dog?

Answer

The cabins and all trails at Devils Thumb Ranch are dog friendly. The lodge is not.

Question

Why is the wedding on a Sunday?

Answer

Its a national holiday ( Martin Luther King, Jr Day) and 3 day weekend for many people on Monday, so we wanted to stretch out the fun for the whole weekend!

Question

How long should we stay?

Answer

It's up to you! We plan to be at Devils Thumb Ranch Friday 1/18- Tuesday 1/22. Our room block is for Saturday 1/19- Sunday 1/20. There is a 2 night minimum. Check in is at 4pm, check out is at 11am. You can always ski or enjoy the activities at the ranch before or after you check in/out! We'll update you on any other plans or weekend events.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception are black tie optional, and indoors. The rest of the weekend will be mountain casual. Be prepared for snow, cold weather, and sun! Layers are great for variable conditions in Colorado. Don't forget your bathing suit for the hot tub!
