Clint said we were going to take the kids to see Santa. The line was so long when we got there since it was only a little over a week until Christmas Day. I could tell he was nervous but not really sure why. I saw him eagerly go over and speak to one of the elves that was working there, not knowing what was being said I thought little about it. Clint came back and said Santa and his elves are going on break so we will need to go waste some time...so we walked around and found a spot in the mall where you could rent out motorized animal scooters, yes that’s right. So we rode those all around and wasted about a half hour. When we went back to see Santa oddly there was nobody in line. So the kids got their pics taken and as I turn to go checkout, I hear Santa say, “hey pretty girl, I want to know what you want for Christmas. Come over here and sit on Santa’s lap,” I find this odd but still no clue what is happening, I reply I would like some jewelry. Santa said could you be more specific. I said a ring! And just then Santa pulled the ring box from his pocket and Clint got on one knee and I burst into tears! I couldn’t even speak and Clint said “will you marry me?” I couldn’t even find the words to say yes! He said are you gonna leave me hanging and just then I screamed yes! just then the whole mall started cheering and clapping! Definitely one of the best days of my life!
I first met Clint back when I was 15 years old at a Arenacross in Dayton, at a place called Hara Arena. He was racing and of course won! That round of areacross and my heart lol, Who knew that 19 years later we would be getting married!
Clint and I have decided to get married in Gainesville, FL at a beautiful location called the Baughman Center located on UF campus. After we will be having dinner and reception with guests at Napalatos also located in Gainesville
