Please RSVP by June 7, 2025.
You’ll look great. We’re sure of it. The vibe is cocktail attire: polished, but not too formal. No ball gowns, no board shorts. Think dresses, suits, or whatever makes you feel confident and comfortable. You will need to walk (and dance) across grass and gravel, so smart shoes are advised. Most of all, we want everyone to look sharp, feel as good as they look, and be comfortable enough to dance like nobody’s watching (and know we absolutely will be watching).
Yes, the wedding will be outside, with a ceremony in the open air and a reception under a tent. There's usually a nice sea breeze, but be aware the day may be rather warm. Please dress accordingly.
Your presence is the best gift we could ask for! The effort and expense you are making to celebrate with us in July is more than enough. If you still desire to send a gift, we’ve created a small registry. What would mean the most is a donation to a cause about which we care deeply. Sabeel: Bob will be leading a solidarity delegation to Palestine in August in conjunction with Sabeel, a Palestinian Christian group in Jerusalem. Journey of Hope: Lauren is on the board of this organization that seeks to end the death penalty by sharing the stories and experiences of people most impacted by the (in)justice system. Truly, our greatest desire is to be with all of you. Thank you, though, if you do make a gift!
There is unfortunately no parking available at the house. While the view is beautiful, the street is narrow! We recommend rideshares (e.g., Uber or Lyft), which should be plentiful in July.
Our wedding is childfree. Thank you for understanding.
