Lauren and Taylor's story began back in 9th grade English class, where their paths first crossed. Taylor would sit behind Lauren every day and put things in her hair to try to catch her attention. Lauren finally found the tape in her hair, realized who kept putting it there, and decided to give Taylor a chance. They began a young and naive relationship during their high school years, but ultimately decided to go their separate ways. Although they were no longer together, Lauren and Taylor continued to run into each other in the years following high school. Whether it was during pickup basketball games at the park or unexpected encounters at a college bar, life always seemed to find a way to bring them back into each other’s lives. Years later in 2022, fate brought them together once more when Lauren moved back to Geneseo from Raleigh, NC. She unexpectedly received a message from Taylor on social media and from there, they reconnected. It was as if they had picked up exactly where they left off in high school, and from that moment on, they were inseparable. From buying their first home and surviving the challenges of a DIY renovation, to going on many trips together and embracing new experiences, their time together has been an amazing adventure – one filled with memories they will treasure forever.
