FAQs

Question

What is the wedding day schedule?

Answer

There will be a detailed schedule included with our formal wedding invitation, to be sent separate from our Save the Date! Our timeline will also be posted on this website once we are closer to the wedding. Please refer back to the "Event Details" page for a general timeline.

Question

Will there be transportation on the wedding day?

Answer

Yes! There will be transportation from our ceremony in Downtown Aspen to the reception venue at Aspen Highlands. After dinner & dancing there will be transportation back to Downtown Aspen. If you choose to stay outside of Downtown Aspen please plan transportation accordingly and give extra time for any travel (see "travel" page for options).

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Our welcome party is mountain casual. Our ceremony and reception is cocktail attire: for women, a knee to full length dress in an elegant style. For men, a suit or blazer and dress pants. Thank you for dressing up with us on our special day! For ideas please see the "guest inspo" tab :)

Question

Are plus ones or kids welcome?

Answer

Due to venue restrictions, we are only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation/RSVP page. So, no additional plus ones please! Additionally, our wedding day will be adults-only. We hope Aspen can be a special getaway for those traveling to celebrate with us. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

How should I prepare for the altitude?

Answer

Aspen's elevation ranges from 7,000 - 12,000 feet. We want all of our guests to feel prepared to avoid altitude sickness. Hydrating with water and electrolytes should begin days before arrival and continue while in Aspen. Allow time to acclimate - take it easy the day you arrive. Altitude tablets may be purchased at most pharmacy/grocery shops in town, highly recommended!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar! Please consider staying in Downtown Aspen, riding with a designated driver, utilizing the public bus, or a taxi if you choose to enjoy the open bar. CHEERS!
