We recommend exploring Phoenicia and the neighboring towns of Woodstock and Kingston. Each town has restaurants, shops, etc.
There are a load of great hikes in the area. Alltrails is great for finding trails of varying distance and difficulty.

Short hike (kind of steep) to amazing waterfall.

Ride the historic train route alongside the Esopus Creek. (electric assisted rail bikes(?))
