"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." — Proverbs 3:5-6 Our story began in a small dive bar in Grapevine, Texas, in the fall of 2020. Laurelle was enjoying a tequila and a cigar when a handsome stranger walked up and asked, "What's a girl like you doing smoking a cigar in a place like this?" What started as a simple conversation quickly turned into hours of laughter, stories, and adventure. Neither of us knew it then, but God was quietly weaving together two lives that would one day become one. As our relationship grew, so did our faith. Through life's adventures, challenges, and blessings, we discovered a deeper purpose in placing Christ at the center of our journey. In 2025, we were blessed to enter the Catholic Church together, a milestone that strengthened our relationship and deepened our commitment to one another and to God. Today, some of our greatest joys are found in sharing our faith, attending Mass, serving alongside our church family, and continuing to grow together in the love and grace of the Lord. Through every season, God has been our guiding light, our source of strength, and the foundation upon which we are building our marriage. Looking back, it is easy to see God's hand in every chapter of our story. What seemed like a chance meeting was, in fact, part of His greater plan. We are grateful for the path He has led us on, the people He has placed in our lives, and the future He is preparing for us as husband and wife.
