Celebrate with us!

If you’re reading this, you’re invited to celebrate our marriage with us! If you know us, you can probably imagine that a big ceremony is not our vibe. We thought about it for a long time, and decided that our perfect wedding day is getting married in a small private ceremony with just our immediate family. However, that doesn’t mean we don’t want to celebrate with the people we love! We're hosting a celebration on Sunday August 17th, at one of our favorite parks, and we would love for you to come. We know that a Sunday isn't the most ideal if you don't live near us, and if you can't make it it's ok; we can find another time to celebrate together later on! The festivities are going to start around 1pm and go until 5pm at Area 1 at Lums Pond State Park in Bear, DE. This is a special place for the two of us. It's right next to where Zubin grew up and he spent many summers here. Our second date was here. Laurel did her first triathlon there the year we met, and then convinced Zubin to nearly drown doing another one together here in 2024. We love it here, and want to share that with you. We will be in cocktail attire, but there is no dress code; you are free to come in whatever makes you feel comfortable and happy! It will be outdoors, and probably hot, so be ready! There will be a buffet, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), games, and we’ll all just be hanging out. Check out the other pages of this website for more info and to RSVP.
