Are kids invited to the wedding?
Answer
We kindly request an adults-only celebration. While we love your little ones, we hope you'll take this opportunity to enjoy a special night out with us! Thank you for understanding, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
When you RSVP for the wedding, the invited guests of your party will be listed. If you have a +1 there will be a space to include their information. If we haven't met them yet, we can't wait! Due to limitations and to keep our celebration intimate, we are only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation and RSVP.

What is the Dress Code?
Answer
Cocktail - although this is a farm wedding, we ask that you leave your farm gettups at home. We encourage slacks, button downs, suit-&-tie or cocktail dresses, skirts, dressy jumpsuits, or other fun evening attire. Consider bringing a second layer to keep warm in the evening, and we ask that guests refrain from wearing white. *Please be prepared for rain or shine, and bring footwear you would find comfortable for an outdoor reception.*

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The wedding and reception will be in a partially enclosed tent in a field, and there will be activities outdoors. It will be a fall evening in Washington, so be prepared for anything from sun to cold temperatures and possible rain.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 4:00PM. We ask that everyone please be in your seat no later than 3:55PM. Please feel free to arrive any time after 3:00.

Where is the wedding/reception located?
Answer
The wedding and reception will be located on our family farm in Elma, Washington. The address for the farm is: 5154 US HYW 12 Elma, WA 98541

Is there parking available?
Answer
Yes, there will be parking available close to the venue. If you can carpool, please do.

Are there nearby hotels?
Answer
There is one hotel in Elma, the Stay Beyond Inn, approximately 3 minutes from the farm, and plenty of hotel options in Olympia 30 minutes away. We are preparing a small field near our house for basic camping, so please contact us if you're considering bringing a camper, tent, or if you'd like to car camp. We want everyone to be comfortable but also safe if driving after the wedding isn't an option for you!

What’s the best way to get to the venue?

By car! Please consider carpooling and designating a DD.

Answer
No.

Will there be dinner and drinks?
Answer
Yes, we will have dinner and dessert after the ceremony and a selection of beer, wine, signature cocktails, and NA drinks for our teetotaler friends.

Are there vegetarian/gluten-free options?
Answer
Yes, we will have options for everyone. If you are worried about a dietary restriction and want to make sure you are covered, please email us at lhgtqb@gmail.com.

What if I need to change my RSVP?
Answer
You should be able to edit your RSVP on the wedding website but if it is within 30 days of the wedding please text the bride or groom or send us an email at lhgtqb@gmail.com.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
No!!! We will have a photographer to capture the memories of our ceremony. We ask that you are 100% unplugged and present during this time. However, we would love for you to take as many photos as possible at the reception.
