So are you having a wedding? Or just a reception? Or what?...

Answer

We just want to get married. We don't want to stress and plan (and pay) for a big wedding. We want to promise our futures to each other and our children. We've got that planned out: It's us, the kids, an officiant, and enough witnesses to make it legal. We may not want a big wedding, however, we would still like to low key celebrate. So it's... um, just a celebrate-Terra-and-Laurel-gathering. In an homage to our roller derby roots, we'll just call it an after party.
